The online panel discussion aims to analyse the aftereffects of the terror attack on 11 September 2001, which had a local and global impact. Shortly after, the War on Terror was launched. As this year marks the second decade of the attack, President Joe Biden has announced that the US troops are planned to be withdrawn from Afghanistan. This landmark event has brought about fundamental changes not only on the domestic but on the global level as well. What were the gains of that campaign regarding the operation of international terror organisations and prevention? The longest war in US history, which is nearing its conclusion in Afghanistan and the War on Terror will be evaluated by our invited experts.
