The sixth edition of think.BDPST strategic conference on innovation, organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and supported by the International Visegrad Fund, will be organised on 14 October 2021 in Budapest and it will also be available online.

This year, the event is part of the official programme of the Hungarian V4 Presidency. The main topic of the conference is e-governance where internationally acknowledged experts will discuss questions such as the threat related to fake news, digital trust and awareness, as well as protection of data in the online world.

As businesses and consumers increasingly “went digital,” we have seen a strong uptake of e-commerce since the pandemic took hold. After-pandemic development with focus on sustainability and digitalisation might become key pillars driving the recovery of the economy, and new fields of cooperation can arise in which the V4 have to find their new position as well. Topics related to circular economy and sustainable retails will also be discussed.
