Tamás Péter Baranyi

Tamás Péter Baranyi is a historian who graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in History and American Studies. He concluded the university’s PhD programme in Contemporary World History. From 2011 to 2012, he was employed as historian at the House of Terror Museum in Budapest. In 2012, he became Head of Research of the institution. Since 2015, he has been Head of Research of the Antall József Knowledge Centre. He is also a lecturer at the ELTE History Department, teaching 19th and 20th century international relations. His research interest includes the history of the Cold War, contemporary transatlantic relations, and security policy.
