The event entitled Electromobility and 5G in the future of automotive industry took place on December 5, 2019, within the framework of the Creative Hungarian Mind program series. Fourty people attended to the presentation who gained insight into the future role of the 5G network in the world of self-driving cars and learned about the developments and research currently underway on this subject in Hungary. Our expert guests, Péter Prukner and Péter Gulyás, are both work for the Széchenyi István University. Péter Prukner is an assistant professor in the Telecommunications Department of the uni, and Péter Gulyás is a member of the Automotive Research Center of the uni, and the autonomous vehicle development working group of the SZEnergy Team. In addition to the topics already mentioned above, their presentation illustrated the role and place of the Automotive Research Center and the SZEnergy Team in domestic automotive innovations and the life of the university.
