In 2020, Antall József Knowledge Centre participated in the programme series entitled European Researchers' Night for the second time, which, somewhat unconventionally, was organised at the end of November this year. In the framework of the online event entitled Current Issues in International Relations, AJKC experts held lectures and offered insight into the most exciting issues in their fields of research.

The opening lecture delivered by Péter Stepper sought to shed light on the impact of the outcome of this year's US presidential election on NATO. His presentation was followed by Zsombor Szabolcs Pál’s, who outlined the evolution of the great powers' interests in Latin American countries. Then Balázs Hamar explained the role of the European Union in international aid system. The next speaker was Krisztina Iszák, who reviewed the reforms of the European Economic and Monetary Union up to now. Péter Dobrowiecki focused in his presentation on the “Macedonian issue”, while Lukács Krajcsír gave an insight into one of the most memorable historical examples of international arms trafficking, the “Lidice case”. Following this, Tamás Kozma held a lecture entitled "Natural Gas in the Eastern Mediterranean: Energy Source or Source of Conflict?", then Zsolt Csepregi elaborated on the geopolitical significance of the Bahrain-UAE-Israel normalisation process. Finally, following the presentation of Norbert Miklós on artificial intelligence in China, Zsófia Gulyás evaluated the political activities of the current president of the Philippines.
