Dóra Gigler

WWF Hungary

Dóra Gigler earned her bachelor's degree in Biology at Eötvös Loránd University and studied conservation biology at the University of Lisbon. She has been a fan of animals and nature since she was a child, her dream was to be a vet one day. In conservation, however, she found the opportunity to help heal not just an individual but an entire ecosystem in a deeper, more complex way. Currently at WWF Hungary, she is focusing on environmental education because she believes that truly effective nature conservation treatments cannot be applied without a change in the attitudes of people and communities.
